Women, Life, and Science is proud to participate in Breast Cancer Awareness Month this Pink October. 🎀

According to the The National Cancer Institute, around 310,720 women in the United States will be diagnosed with breast cancer in 2024, with approximately 42,250 fatalities expected.

To understand your personal risk for breast cancer, consult your primary care physician or gynecologist for a risk assessment, or request a referral to a specialized breast clinic for further evaluation.

By staying informed and proactive, we can contribute to early detection and better outcomes for those affected by breast cancer.

💭How will you help raise awareness and support research efforts to combat breast cancer?

Let’s work together to make a difference.
